Since 2003, Damien Valero has experimented with the digital image. He tire prints on various surfaces: Plexiglas, steel or wood.He plays with the thickness of these various strata and the transparencies of these substances to create random anfractuosities like skins altered by time. The work is a body in the same way as the living images of Byzantine icons.
